Tekscan designs and manufactures pressure-measurement systems based on patented thin-film tactile force-sensing arrays that measure the force and pressure distribution between mating surfaces. PC-based systems allow users to view static and dynamic pressures as a color-coded 2-D or 3-D wire-frame display. The sensors accommodate sampling speeds up to 5 kHz and can be used repeatedly.
