Cleanroom on display

Behind them, a manually guided loader for transporting FPD pods is undergoing shock and vibration tests. Opened earlier this year, the $1.8-million facility houses Class 10,000, Class 1000, and Class 10 cleanrooms totaling 15,000 sq ft. USDC, the display consortium in San Jose, provided design and construction assistance. Lepco of Houston was the contractor.
